Two weeks ago I took these photos of a tree outside my window with it's beautiful golden leaves. I was ready for fall and all the beauty of it and the chill in the air.
And I was hoping for a nice long fall.
Yesterday I took these photos from the same window.
The first snowfall of the season in Brooklyn! Brrrr! Am I ready for winter?
No!! Yes!! No!!..... I dunno.
That first snowfall always makes the child in me so very happy -
but the adult dreads the on coming winter.
I do hope that this is a sign that we may get a white Christmas!
